Terilli's Restaurant in dallas

Terilli's Restaurant in Dallas-After 15 years in the restaurant business, owner Jeannie Terilli took a hiatus from the hustle of the food industry and started her own landscape company. After digging 5 gallon holes in the Texas summer heat, she seriously reconsidered her decision. Still uncertain, she would flip a coin to decide whether or not to go back into the restaurant business, asking God to control the coin in the air and land it with her fate. Heads for opening a restaurant, tails for continuing to dig those holes. Sure enough, God had restored her faith in the restaurant business. Terilli started asking her friends and family what to call this new restaurant venture. Terilli’s became the unanimous vote. Starting with a name and working from there on, she wanted to know what food she should serve. Italian became the obvious choice. So began the development of the future menu of Terilli's.

While developing the restaurants recipes,Terilli wanted to serve pizza, but decided against this because of her family and friends currently in the pizza business. Besides, pizza was just too easy. She wanted something new and fresh. Bold but not frightening. Little did she know that she had created her own culinary masterpiece that launched Terilli’s to its current fame. In the past, Terilli sold so many nachos in her previous restaurant venture she decided to create an Italian Nacho. Which became a registered trademark today called the “Italchos.” The chips from the nachos are created from a secret recipe and made fresh daily in the restaurant, to give the dish its rich and unforgettable taste. Haven’t tried them? Get ready to be hooked.

Here at Terilli's all of our patrons are considered family. Our restaurant is owned and run by members of our family. The way we see it, that invitation should be given to the people that come and experience our delectable Italian cooking. We look forward to seeing you.

Maggiano's Little Italy in dallas

Maggiano’s Little Italy opened the doors of its first location on the corners of Clark Street and Grand Avenue in Chicago, Illinois November 11, 1991. What happened next, as they say, is history.

The restaurant was successful from the very beginning, with eager diners sometimes waiting hours for an opportunity to dine family-style. The portions of Italian–American cuisine were large, reminiscent of a Sunday night visit to their grandmother’s house, or as they say in Italy, nonna’s casa! The recipes were simple, authentic classics, many of them coaxed out of Italian grandmothers, mothers, and aunts whose ideas of a recipe were a pinch of this and a sprinkle of that. With some trial and error, the chefs celebrated the birth of many of Maggiano’s signature dishes.

With a successful opening at the Clark and Grand location, a second restaurant was opened in Oak Brook, Illinois and two years later in Skokie, Illinois. The decision to open a restaurant outside of Illinois was made, and in 1994 Maggiano’s Little Italy opened in McLean, Virginia at Tyson’s Corner Galleria II. As Tyson’s Corner took off, it became obvious that Maggiano’s had great potential to succeed nationally. With that in mind, Brinker International purchased Maggiano’s Little Italy from Rich Melman of Lettuce Entertain you in 1995. Since then, Brinker has grown Maggiano’s from four locations in Illinois to numerous locations across the country.

Cane Rosso Restaurant In Dallas

Best Italian Hotels In Dallas-Cane Rosso Restaurant In Dallas, was born when owner, Jay Jerrier, visited Italy in 1995 for his honeymoon. A former corporate exec, he had an epiphany upon tasting his first true Italian pizza and knew that he had found something special. Wanting to replicate the experience that he had in Italy, when Jerrier eventually made his way to Dallas, Texas, he had a wood-burning oven built and trained with Master Pizzaiolos at the Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), an organization that promotes and protects the true craft of Neapolitan style pizza. Jerrier launched a mobile catering oven in 2009 and quickly developed a large and loyal following in the Dallas area and received a number of accolades from the press. Momentum grew quickly, and the first location of Cane Rosso was opened in early 2011 in Dallas’ Deep Ellum district. Jerrier and crew have since been fortunate to receive a bevy of attention, both locally and nationally. Cane Rosso has since grown to five existing locations in the DFW area, along with expanding to both Houston and Austin in 2016 . In addition to the Cane Rosso restaurants, in early 2014, Jerrier officially formed a dog rescue group, Cane Rosso Rescue, in order to fuel Jerriers passion to do all that is necessary to save the lives of abandoned dogs. More info about Cane Rosso Rescue can be found here. Cane Rossos fresh, never-frozen dough is made in-house every day, using all natural "OO" flour imported from Italy. The sauce for our pizzas is made from hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and our mozzarella is pulled fresh in-house daily. Cane Rosso pizzas are thin-crust, but are most definitely not “New York style.” Neapolitan style pizzas like ours are meant to be eaten with a knife and fork and are crafted using only the highest quality ingredients available. Our pizzas are fired in our specially built wood-fired oven from Italy that reaches 900 degrees and cooks our pizzas in under 90 seconds for a delicate and light, slightly charred dough. Cane Rosso also offers a selection of pastas, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Since opening the first Deep Ellum location, Cane Rosso has been named “Best Pizza in Dallas” by D Magazine 5 years in a row (2011-2015), appeared on The Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” with host, Guy Fieri, and received numerous awards and honors from The Dallas Morning News, the Dallas Observer, and Eater Dallas, as well as being listed among Eater Nationals 38 Essential Pizzerias in America and The Daily Meals 101 Best Pizza Places in America.
